Catskill Mountain Christian Academy

Catskill Mountain Christian Academy was founded in 1995 to provide a decidedly Christian education. The families who started the Academy recognized the need for Christian Academy which was not competing with the local public school system but was dedicated to providing a Christian alternative.

Catskill Mountain Christian Academy exists to provide the educational, biblical and spiritual leadership training we believe the next generation of Christians will need in order to be successful in the 21st Century. Whether our graduates are leaders from the church pulpit or from the emergency room, lecture hall, court house or corporate boardroom they will be ready to face the unique challenges of being Christian examples whatever their profession.

We are dedicated to the Biblical example of training Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of the Ministry.

Scope of Studies

Catskill Mountain Christian Academy offers a full day kindergarten - 12th grade educational program as well as a pre-reading program for preschoolers.

First Grade - Senior High School

Our 1st - 12th grade students are expected to complete a core curriculum which includes studies in Literature, Grammar, History, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and the Bible. Students also must complete elective studies which may include; Health, Foreign Languages, Home Economics, Art, Accounting, Consumer Math, Logic, and Individualized Study programs.

ABC's/Preschool Program

At Catskill Mountain Christian Academy your Preschooler or Kindergartener will learn to read using ABC'S of ACE. Our staff use the ACE curriculum with proven success across the United States and in over 60 nations around the world. Combining sight words, diacritical markings and music your children will learn to appreciate the joy of reading while building skills which will enable them to pursue a lifetime of learning.
